President
Loren C. Scott & Associates Inc.
Hometown: Odessa, Texas

Though it affects everybody, economics isn’t for everybody, but Loren C. Scott finds it fun and satisfying explaining sometimes-complex economics topics to the layperson. His greatest professional accomplishment is helping LSU’s economics department jump from 101st to 38th in the country. His favorite television show is Seinfeld, and he takes his coffee black and unsweetened. And his greatest hope for Baton Rouge is a school system that gives everyone a foundation for interest in education and hope for a prosperous future. View the entirety of our question-and-answer session with Scott, click here. We’ve pulled a few of our favorites below.
